Nesfield International College Emerges Victorious in 3rd Edition of Marcopolo Pizza-Making Competition 2023!
Nesfield International College, a premier hospitality institution, has emerged as the victor in the highly anticipated Third Edition of the "Marcopolo Pizza Making Competition 2023." Held on the 8th of May at the esteemed Chhaya Center in Thamel, this illustrious competition, sponsored by Annapurna Royal Camp, aimed to showcase the culinary skills of Hospitality students and promote the Pizza-making culture in Nepal.
The distinguished panel of judges, including the revered Head Chef of Marcopolo Restaurant, Shanker Shrestha, Hospitality Professor Amit Kumar Lammichhane, and the accomplished Executive Chef of Square Hotel, Padam Bahadur Aale Magar, evaluated the competitors from the renowned hospitality colleges, including Ritz College of Engineering & Management, Kantipur International College, and Academy of Culinary Arts.
The competition showcased the exceptional skills, creativity, and dedication of the contestants while providing a unique platform for young culinary students to learn from and be inspired by the industry's leading professionals. Ultimately, Nesfield International College emerged as the undisputed champion, impressing the esteemed panel of judges with their unparalleled mastery of the art of pizza-making.
Sujan Nagarkoti, the Manager of Marcopolo Restaurant, presided over the proceedings with great enthusiasm and provided encouragement and support to all participants. Aakansha Yogi was the host of the Event. The winning institution was awarded a coveted trophy and a night stay at Annapurna Royal Camp in Pokhara. Pizza dinner vouchers were given to all other colleges to show appreciation for their participation.
